Arriving by car
From the East the university can be reached from the Hilden interchange (A3/A46) via the Gelsenkirchen-Süd interchange (A 46). Leave the A46 in the tunnel (exit Zentrum/Universität). At the first set of traffic lights, you will come to Universitätsstraße, which runs through the campus.
From the West the A46 and the A57 meet at the Neuss-Süd interchange. After the Rhine bridge (Fleher Brücke), take the exit Bilk/Zentrum/Hafen/Benrath. Then follow the right exit (Benrath/Universität).
From the city centre drive along Corneliusstraße and Witzelstraße (direction Wuppertal, A46), then turn right onto Universitätsstraße.
Arriving by train
We recommend arriving by train (U73/U79) to the final stop "Universität Ost/Botanischer Garten", or by bus (SB56, SB57, 731, 735, 827, 835, 836, NE7) to the stop "Universität Mitte".
