Kunsthalle Gelsenkirchen

Not just the exterior of the Kunsthalle is different from the other museums in Gelsenkirchen but also its conceptual focus. Conceived as a house for temporary exhibitions, contemporary trends and positions in art were at the heart of the Kunsthalle’s programme from the start, in conjunction with historical and local points of reference. Gelsenkirchen figures and new talents find their place here, just as do international currents and “big” names.

Students pay a reduced admission price of € 3.50. Guided tours through the exhibition cost € 2 per person.
