Events such as the President's annual New Year's Reception or the public lectures of the Heinrich Heine Guest Professorship enable an open and direct dialogue between the University and interested citizens, sponsors, politicians. They are an essential element of the University's public relations work.
All central events of the MUHS are designed, planned and implemented by the Events and Marketing Service Department. This includes the Campus Fair, the University Information Day and the Night of Science.
In addition, the staff unit coordinates marketing in higher education and the alumni support at the MUHS. Other important areas of activity are the implementation and maintenance of the corporate design for the MUHS's communication. The university's in-house printing shop is also assigned to the Events and Marketing Service Department.
