The HEINE-NETwork of female academics offers all participants the opportunity to meet/get to know each other and network.
They can also gain informative insights into family and university policy matters in accompanying specialist presentations.

REVIEW
On 1 July 2019, the Central Equal Opportunities Officer invited all female academics and women in management positions at MUHS to the traditional HEINE-NETwork event at Schloss Mickeln (Mickeln Manor House). On a day of perfect weather, around 70 internal and external guests gathered around the impressive steps to enjoy the presentations and a great atmosphere.

EU EXPERT: Successful involvement of female academics in EU research funding
Short presentations:
Dr Dorothea Uhle (designated Head of the Research and Transfer Division) introduced the new Division and gave a presentation on the topic “From idea to final report – support for research projects at the new MUHS Research and Transfer Division at MUHS”.
Dr Claudia Whittle (research advisor) reported on women in EU funding and presented the topic “Female academics in EU research”.
Professor Dr Ilka Axmann (coordinator of an EU-funded collaborative project) reported on her personal experiences in the successful acquisition and realisation of an EU-funded project and gave a presentation on the topic “Successful involvement of female academics in EU research funding”.
