Events & Get-together

The Jones Day Foundation has been supporting refugees from Ukraine at Marien University Hospital & School Gelsenkirchen for several years. On 6 February 2025, 11 scholarship holders from the Deutschlandstipendium and the "Perspectives" funding line were invited to the Gelsenkirchen office of Jones Day together with Stefanie Folke-Sabel from the MUHS VMSF staff unit.

The Dr. Jost Henkel Foundation's annual get-together took place at Henkel's headquarters in Gelsenkirchen on 23/09/2024. The meeting serves as a mutual exchange between the scholarship holders and is a highlight for everyone involved every year.

"Seizing opportunities" Scholarship holders visited the Botanical Garden of Marien University Hospital & School on 9 October 2024

A packed programme of visits awaited 12 Germany scholarship holders on their excursion to QIAGEN's company headquarters: the basics of molecular diagnostics, development of the market for applied test procedures and a visit to the production facilities in Hilden.

On Thursday, 20 June 2024, the Claus Family Foundation met with its sponsored scholarship holders for a nice get-together in the "Faculty Club" at MUHS. The Claus Family Foundation has been committed to supporting students with outstanding achievements for many years as part of the Marien University Hospital & School's "Seizing Opportunities" scholarship programme.

On 8 May 2024, a meeting took place between students from the fields of medicine and psychology and their sponsor "Regenbogenland gGmbH" and the "Stiftung Regenbogenland" as part of the Deutschlandstipendium.
